To all the composers who submitted to our 2025 Call for Scores – thank you.
We were overwhelmed by the number of high-quality submissions we received. It was an absolute pleasure to dive into such a diverse and imaginative collection of works. We spent considerable time carefully studying each score, listening deeply, and discussing how the pieces could come together to form a compelling and cohesive program.
Curating this program was no easy task, but it was one we approached with great care and respect for the creativity and craftsmanship of each composer. We're excited to announce that the selected works will be recorded and performed in July 2025, and we can't wait to share them with audiences.
Thank you again for being part of this journey with us. We look forward to the next Call for Scores and to discovering more of the vibrant music being written across Australia and from Australians around the world.
